I'm at the Artisan's Festival in the park near my home. I worry I won't be able to attend, as they've moved the exhibits out onto floatilas on Fairy Lake to save the grass, but Charon brought the boat. We're in luck, my credits still good, so I can pay for Krammer. Dead Dave rides for free, and he and Charon bitch about the Grim Reaper all the way across.
Dead immediately stops at the Zombie Wine Works-- it is his heritage, after all. I wave off the Kaballah Tours guy, who only has a permit because of the flowers he brought back from Tipperith. I've already taken the Lightening road twice, and feel no drive to do it again.
Rocky, my raccoon, points Krammer to David Mack's booth, and so he's lost for the day.
Me, I settle in front of Hephestus and Aphrodite's Forge and Potion shop, and watch the two bicker in that loving way married couples do. So glad they settled down. Eris' apples are some of the most wonderful gold he's ever worked, the forge god tells me, and "Die-tee" can use the juice.
